Reducing Re-Entry, Increasing Efficiency

Metrex Internet Solutions is proud to announce that CanAmerica Drugs, Inc, an innovative Manitoba-based online pharmacy, has selected MOMEX technology solutions to enhance and improve its in-office customer relationship management (CRM) efforts. 

CanAmerica staff, affiliates and customers will be able to use the new CRM tools to make the process of ordering and re-ordering low-cost medication online simple and efficient.  CanAmerica staff will use a centralized software application, currently in development, to store, access, and process orders from their online pharmaceutical catalog, and will communicate with customers via MOMEX Relationship Marketing.

Traditionally, CanAmerica staff use pen and paper to track information such as affiliate, agent and patient contact information, patient medical documentation and histories, prescription renewal dates, and much more. Since purchasing prescription medication is not a simple over-the-counter transaction, each order goes through a very complex ordering -> approval -> shipment process which requires organized information and the attention of doctors, pharmacists and many other individuals in the CanAmerica office.  Keeping track of the many details surrounding each order has become a time-intensive process as CanAmerica's own success has grown.

Facing an additional challenge which is common to innovative firms using mainframe or out-of-the-box client-server technologies, CanAmerica Drugs finds much of its order-fulfillment process redundant:  Information processed through one stage must be re-entered by hand into the system that handles the next stage, and there is no easy way to integrate the systems to prevent this need and the inevitable increase in typographical errors it inspires.
